How do I start an order?

Go to the “Place an Order” page and fill out the form. This will send you an email, reply to the email and attach your files, and then send to us. We’re typically able to confirm receipt within a business day (M-F). If you need rush service ($25 additional) please add the word “RUSH” to your subject line.

What kind of files do I need?

Our printer prints the best quality images using an sRGB color profile, at 300 dpi resolution, at the same size you want it printed. This is often referred to as a “print-ready” file, or a “high-res” file.

Often a photographer will provide you with a file that is suitable for digital submissions, but most often that file is too small for a sharp clear headshot prints – we make our best attempts to screen files for this issue and offer recommendations to remedy the situation.

If you are having a resume printed directly on the backside of your headshot it is best to send a PDF file of the resume. This ensures that the formatting and fonts stay as close to how you set it up as possible. Other formats sometimes move things around.

If you want a borderless photo, our system requires a “printer’s bleed” of 1/8″ all around of live image that will be trimmed away.

What are my font options?

There are 100’s of fonts… It’s best to use your word program, type your name at 27 point font size, and start browsing the various fonts. Once you find the one that fits you, export it it as a PDF, and send it over with your headshot file.

Do you keep my files for future re-ordering?

Yes, for approximately two years.

What payment methods do we accept?

We require holding your credit card information before starting any set-up or printing order. Payment is collected when you pick up your order, we accept cash, check, or other payment methods at that time. If you are having your order shipped we collect payment prior to shipping.

Why do we say no refunds or exchanges?

We offer a complimentary first print proof on all bulk orders. We do this because color may vary from monitor to monitor. Since printing is not something we can re-shelf or re-sell all orders are considered “no refunds or exchanges”.

What are the pick-up and delivery options?

Orders can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Shipping options include our standard shipping (FedEx Ground) which for most orders starts at $15. For larger orders, or for locations outside of the Midwest, please Contact Us for a quote.
